SmartDock is all about connectivity. It includes HDMI for dual 1080p displays, three USB ports, a headset jack and Gigabit Ethernet. Available accessory called SmartDock Flex expansion kit will further enhance performance of the Smart Dock, consolidating HDMI, USB, LAN and power to a single CAT6 cable. So you get less clutter. More connectivity.

It just takes just one action to share a presentation or demo with this sophisticated but easy-to-use console. All that needs doing is connecting your laptop to SmartDock via HDMI input, integrated into it. This is it, you are all set now to share presentation from your personal device.

Surface Pro provides a wide range of possibilities for connectivity: it features HDMI input for 1080p 60 content sharing, Gigabit Ethernet, dual 1080p display ports, a headset mini-plug and three USB 3.1 type A ports
SmartDock is equipped with integrated IR sensor to detect motion in the conference room. Once the motion is detected, the system is woken and ready for action. With no motion in the room, the device will go into hibernation mode to save the energy.
Surface Pro was designed in partnership with Microsoft, so the integration with Skype Room System is nothing short of perfect. As well as Logitech SmartDock, all Logitech conference Cams are too, Skype for Business certified, ensuring seamless flow of all video conferences and premium VC experience.
In order to further enhance your video conferencing experience, it is recommended you check out the optional SmartDock Flex expansion kit. It includes an low-key base for SmartDock and an Extender box, that is easy to conceal. This optional accessory allows to reduce clutter drastically by combining USB, dual HDMI, data, and power cables into one CAT6 cable. To make the room look even neater, the CAT6 cable can be routed via a conduit. For extra flexibility with installation and layout of the room, there are 2 optional extender cables available to choose from: 10 and 5 meters, with default one being a 5 meter cable. SmarkDock Flex.
Even if you need to jump outside of Microsoft ecosystem at some point of a video conference, SmartDock Flex expansion unit makes the switch quick and effortless. Simply connect to console to get instant access to all the AV equipment in Skype room: camera, speakerphone and display. So even though certified for Skype for Business, the equipment is perfectly compatible with Cisco WebEx, Zoom, BlueJeans, and most of the leading meeting software.
